Code of Conduct

In the context of PropTech Angels facilitating any introduction (the ‘PropTech Services’) between a Member, on the one hand, and any business or organisation in the initial stages of operations that requires capital to order to achieve mass scale via private investment/debt (a ‘Start-Up’), on the other hand:

• I will conduct myself in an ethical and professional manner at all times, acting with honesty, equity and without discrimination.
• I will respect the privacy of other PropTech Angels members and the Start-Ups I meet with and not provide their name or any contact or other information to any third party without their permission and solely in accordance with my PropTech Angels Membership Agreement.
• I will keep all Information provided to me by Start-Ups, other PropTech Angels Members, suppliers, partners or any other organisation, confidential and will not disclose any information to any third parties without the express written permission of the impacted party/parties and solely in accordance with my PropTech Angels Membership Agreement.
• I will respect the copyright of any documents and materials I am provided access to as part of my membership of PropTech Angels and treat all those materials in accordance with my obligations under my PropTech Angels Membership Agreement.
• I will promptly disclose to PropTech Angels, in writing, any actual or perceived conflicts of interest in a timely manner.
• I understand that I must conduct my own analysis and due diligence to determine the appropriateness of any investment I make in any Start-Up or other company to which I am introduced through PropTech Angels. I recognise and agree that none of PropTech Angels or any of its directors, officers, employees, Affiliates or related body corporates are liable for any investment decision I make as a result of, or in connection with, being a member of PropTech Angels or receiving the PropTech Angels Services. The choice to use and the manner of utilisation of information and knowledge gained through the PropTech Angels Services is my individual and personal choice.
• I will immediately advise PropTech Angels of any or all investments (as defined in the PropTech Angels Membership Agreement) made by me or any affiliate or related body corporate of mine to any Start-Up or business introduced to me via PropTech Angels, whether I am a current or past member of PropTech Angels.
• I will comply with the spirit as well as the letter of this Code of Conduct.
• For the purposes of this Code of Conduct, “I’ and ‘me” includes any corporate entity in respect of which I have applied for Membership with PropTech Angels.
